I first met Ann at Spondon WI and our wonderful friendship began.  We had very similar backgrounds and interests - teaching, National Trust, reading, chatting, sorting out the world's problems etc!!  From this we discovered the joy of days out all over England, with the occasional long weekend in England and Germany.  I'm so grateful for such wonderful memories of my lovely friend, Ann, and so sad we can't repeat them any more.
