I played both bridge and whist with Ann at Spondon.

She was the friendliest of opponents who always greeted you with a smile and a kindly word. She was always most supportive to my charitable fund raising efforts, encouraging me to sell raffle tickets or to hold coffee mornings.

She loved the card playing as well as the sociability of the meet ups. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
